Privacy Policy

Effective date

This Privacy Policy is effective as of May 13, 2026.

What we do not collect

• We do not upload, copy, or transmit your photos or videos.
• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address.
• We do not require an account to use Tossio.
• We do not access your photo metadata (location, EXIF) on our servers.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Local processing of your camera roll

Tossio uses iOS Photos permissions to read your camera roll directly on your iPhone. All thumbnails, previews, and decisions about which items to delete happen on-device. When you confirm a deletion, we use Apple's standard deletion API, which moves the items to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album where you can recover them within 30 days.

Anonymous analytics

To improve the app we record anonymous usage events such as when a cleanup session starts, swipe counts, and whether a deletion was confirmed. These events:

• are not tied to your identity;
• do not include any photo data, metadata, file names, URIs, or identifiers;
• are restricted to a fixed list of allowed properties (mode, count, duration) which we publish in our source code.

Subscription information

Tossio Pro is sold through Apple. When you purchase or restore a subscription, we receive a RevenueCat-managed customer record tied to an anonymous identifier created by RevenueCat on your device. We use this identifier only to determine your entitlement (Pro / Free). We never receive your Apple ID, email, or payment details.

Third parties

• Apple App Store — handles all payments and subscriptions.
• RevenueCat — manages our anonymous subscription state.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or trackers.

Children

Tossio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is generally nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. You can revoke Tossio's photo access at any time in iOS Settings, and you can delete the app to remove all on-device data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at tossio.app/privacy-policy. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
